In April 1999, the mandate from God- to “Win the Lost at Any Cost”- was given. This command was accepted with relish and gave birth to the ministry known as Soul Winners. They began ministering in small churches with songs that touched people’s hearts. Apart from concerts, they also ministered at cruises, weddings, funerals, crusades and other outreach programs. The latter two events are held in high prestige by the ministry since it helps them to actively pursue their mandate. With a current membership on eight (8), Soul Winners Ministry is said to be a family oriented ministry. Most of the members are related to each other, and this familial bond is apparent in both their on-stage and off-stage ministry. This is, “A feature which makes the band truly unique” in the opinion of the manager.
The Ministry has been featured artistes at the St. Vincent Gospelfest, The Antigua Gospelfest as well as prominent features at the Barbados Gospelfest. They have performed for several governmental functions as well as at various cultural festivals such as The Holetown Festival, The Oistins Festival, Agrofest and Bridgetown Market. By the help of God, they released their Freshmen Album, “No Compromising” in 2009.
