Vanessa Briggs

Known throughout the Caribbean for her beautiful voice and personality, Vanessa has opened for many international artiste such as Donnie McClurkin, Joanne Rosario, Ce Ce Winans, TD Jakes and Fred Hammond. She has also had collaborations with Russell Leonce, Kevon Thomas, Mention, Issac Blackman, son of the late Ras Shorty I, and Sherwin Gardener.

2011 saw Vanessa’s song,”Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda” premiered as a stage play at the Broadway theatre in England. The production was a heart wrenching masterpiece written by UK's prolific wordsmith and playwright Alan Charles (Writer of "Love, Sax and all that Jazz") featuring the story of her songs and her story; as told on her latest album, "New Beginning.” In 2012 Vanessa Briggs landed the role of Judge/Mentor for the Digicel Rising Stars alongside, Johnny Gonzales, Glenda Collens and David Williams.

An invitation in 2013 by invitation from the Caricom Secretariat via Ask Promotions, Vanessa accompanied the Trinidadian contingent to Suriname as one of the Panellists and as the head of the vocal coaching segment for the Caribbean Artiste for CARIFESTA 2013.

Vanessa recently worked with Encounter Church, South Carolina, to execute a successful vocal workshop. Her latest venture is the launch of her new single “why you love me”, produced by Grammy Award Nominee and Dove Award winning producer/musician Roger Ryan.
