Excellency and The Pure Fire Band is a Barbados-based gospel music ministry led by Dominican-born artiste, Justin Canoville, known in ministry as Excellency.
Combining gospel reggae, dancehall, dub, and worship, the group delivers energetic presentations centered on praise, faith, and evangelism. Guided by the principle of doing all things in “God’s excellence,” the ministry has participated in church services, outreach initiatives, concerts, and regional worship events throughout Barbados and the Caribbean.
Excellency has shared platforms with ministers including Sherwin Gardner, Emrand Henry, and Hoszia Hinds. Their appearance at Barbados Gospelfest 2026 promises vibrant Caribbean worship infused with ministry, encouragement, and celebration.
